Construction Equipment CoursesThe heavy equipment industry is certainly an excellent place to look for a job. However, if you don't have any previous experience, you might wonder how you can possibly compete in such a competitive industry. In other words, how can you set yourself apart from every other Tom, Dick and Harry (or Jane) who wants to be hired for the very same job?
The answer is simple: construction equipment courses, such as the kind provided here at the Heavy Equipment Operating School. By taking one of our courses, you can equip yourself with a body of knowledge that will set you head and shoulders above almost all other applicants, no matter what their experience levels. And you can do it quickly and inexpensively too.
At the Heavy Equipment Operating School, based in Eugene, Oregon, we offer two different levels of heavy equipment training: basic and advanced. In the basic course, you will get the skills necessary to perform a large number of basic maneuvers and handle some machines. Individual class titles include "Equipment Maintenance," "Unit of Measure/Conversions," and a variety of different basic operation classes. The course takes place over three weeks, and is composed of all-day classes five days a week.
We also have an advanced course, which includes the training offered in the basic course, as well as three more weeks of more advanced topics. This course offers several advanced classes in equipment operation. The machines that you will learn to operate well and safely while in the advanced course include the dozer, TLB, and excavator.
