Heavy Equipment Operation TrainingNothing feels worse than being rejected by a potential employer. However, for more and more beginners looking to break into the construction field these days, this is becoming a pretty common experience. If you're tired of being called untrained and unexperienced, and want to present yourself in a way that will make your natural talents stand out, you should consider taking some courses in heavy equipment operation training.
The Heavy Equipment Operating School was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1997. Since then, we've been dedicated to providing education to a variety of different people. Our courses are very affordable, and financing is available to qualified applicants. Plus, the HEOS courses take place over three (basic course) or six (advanced course) week periods, meaning that the amount of time you'll be off work is kept to an absolute minimum.
This doesn't mean that you won't be working hard--quite the opposite, actually. The courses are comprised of intense five day weeks, from 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 at night. During this time, you'll learn about topics like Terminology and Regulation. You'll also get plenty of hands-on experience with actual machines.
The Heavy Equipment Operating School has been at the top of its class for years--and a big part of this is its unique Job Placement Office. The Job Placement Office helps graduates turn their education into a real job; many students have said it was one of the best parts about attending HEOS.
