Heavy Equipment Operator CoursesOperating a piece of heavy equipment so that no mistakes are made takes practice. But if you don't have a job, then how can you get that practice? After all, it's not like too many people have spare dozers hanging out on their front lawns that you can borrow for a day to test drive. One way to get good experience handling heavy equipment is by enrolling in heavy equipment operator courses.
We specialize in this type of training here at the Heavy Equipment Operating School. Founded in 1997 by a mix of educators, engineers, and other people with extensive ties to the construction industry, the Heavy Equipment Operating School has since helped plenty of people get great jobs handling heavy equipment. Our unique combination of classroom and hands-on learning makes it easy to familiarize yourself with a number of different machines, including levelers, dozers, and even dump trucks.
The classes come in either a basic three week or advanced six week course. They meet five times a week, from early in the morning to late afternoon. They cover areas such as Operation Theory, Units of Measurement, Finding a Job, and of course involve plenty of time using actual machines.
Here at the Heavy Equipment Operating School, we know that a lot of our applicants might be concerned about their financial situations: this is, after all, a school aimed at getting you into a job and making money as soon as possible. That's why we make the courses short and intensive, as opposed to drawn out over a longer period of time.
