Here at HEOS, we offer men and women interested in breaking into the lucrative field of heavy equipment operation a way to boost their ability to be hired inexpensively and easily. Our three week basic and six week advanced courses leave graduates with all the skills they need to get a job working with any number of machines.

The Heavy Equipment Operating School has long had a "students-first" attitude. This is the main reason why our courses are so condensed--though not at all easy. Both basic and advanced versions consist of five-day weeks, during which classes run from 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon. We do this so that you the student can get out of the classroom and into a job as soon as possible.

Classes cover a variety of topics, which range from the more abstract (Units of Measurement, Operation Theory), to specific sessions with actual pieces of equipment. At the end of our course, students will be comfortable with machines such as the dozer, dump truck, and excavator. And once you've finished your coursework, our Job Placement Center is there to help you find a job so you can put your skills to work.
