The Heavy Equipment Operating School is located in Eugene, Oregon, on a campus that is part classroom, part playground. In this way, the location is a lot like our classes themselves. We cover a combination of theoretical subjects, such as Units of Measurement and Industry Regulations, and more practical skills, such as Operation Theory.

No matter whether you take our six week advanced course or our three week basic course, you'll have plenty of chances to get your hands on some real machinery. Tools covered include dozers, levelers, and even a dump truck. The courses run five days a week, from 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon.

We make class days long to make the course itself shorter. That way you can begin working as soon as possible. Another tool that graduates can use to help them find a job after they've completed their course is our Job Placement Center. This efficient and well-organized department has connections to many different area crews and has had great success in the past with placing graduates.
