Heavy Equipment Trade SchoolsOperating heavy equipment may look fun, but it certainly isn't easy. Aside from there being a fair amount of levers, dials, wheels and other variables to take care of, the sheer power of the vehicle involved should be enough to make any over-eager operator rethink his or her position. Before attempting to handle this kind of power, you might want to get a little experience or education from heavy equipment trade schools.
This also happens to be the opinion of many employers. And many of them have found the education provided at the Heavy Equipment Operating School to be the industry standard. Here at HEOS we offer two different courses, basic or advanced. The basic takes three weeks of five day a week, 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon classes, and the advanced takes six weeks.
During these courses, you'll learn a mixture of both classroom skills and on-site techniques. For example, in the class entitled Units of Measurement, you'll learn how the different global styles and types of measurement can influence construction. Then you'll get a chance to go out, get your hands on one of the machines in question, and actually try it out.
Another big advantage that the Heavy Equipment Operating School gives its graduates is access to the Job Placement Office. The Job Placement Office has been in operation since the school was founded and has placed many individuals in excellent positions. If this sounds like the kind of education you've been looking for, please contact us at 1-800-265-7535. We're more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
