Road Grader TrainingHeavy equipment, like the road grader, is very difficult for inexperienced operators to work. At best, an inexperienced worker will probably take much more time to get the job done. At worst, he or she might end up causing damage to the machines, the site, bystanders or even themselves.
In order to avoid these problems--and make yourself much more professionally attractive in the meantime--you should really consider road grader training. This particular skill is covered in the courses we offer here at the Heavy Equipment Operating School. Located in beautiful Eugene, Oregon, we offer two different levels of instruction: advanced or basic. Both of the courses leave you with a working and in-depth knowledge of many different machines and techniques, including dozers, graders, levelers and dump trucks.
The two courses differ in their length. The basic course lasts for three weeks' worth of five day a week, ten hour a day classes. The advanced course runs for six weeks. Both are designed around an intensive schedule so that you can finish your education and get working now, rather than later.
To this end, we also allow our graduates to make use of our Job Placement Office. With almost a decade's worth of experience placing graduates in excellent entry positions, this office is one of the true perks of the Heavy Equipment Operating School.
