offer 2 heavy equipment operating courses (Basic and Advanced)

Basic Course is three weeks long and costs $4995.00

are the normal school hours |

6:30
AM to 5:30 PM with an hour off for lunch. 5 hrs are classroom
hours and 5 hours are equipment operation. |

are the differences between the three week basic course
and the six week advanced course? |
| A. |
The
three week course will give you a basic knowledge of
the equipment, operation of the equipment, equipment
safety and some of the math calculations for excavations.

The six week course is a three week continuation of
the three week Basic Course. Here you will receive advanced
training on what you have learned and go in depth on
all phases of operation of heavy equipment. See

Should
I take the Basic or Advanced Course? |

If
you have previously operated heavy equipment and want
to touch up your skills you may want to take the basic
course. If you are new to the industry you should take
the Advanced Course. |

Why
should I take the CDL course? |
| A. |
A
CDL is not necessary to operate heavy equipment, however,
you may need to take the equipment from one site to another
on a truck and a CDL license is required to drive on public
roads. Many contractors require a CDL for employment. |

often do classes start? |

New
classes start every three weeks. Refer to the class
schedule page for the next starting class. |

I need a valid drivers license? |

No,
You do not need a valid drivers license for operating
heavy equipment.
Yes, You do need a valid Oregon drivers license for the
CDL training. |

Although
a High School diploma or GED is preferred it is not a
requirement. |

Most of our students stay ay the Crosslands and Economy
